Royal Savoy

Royal Savoy is a five-star all-suite resort on Funchal's oceanfront, shaped by the long bond between Madeira and British travellers — interiors carry a collector's calm, with artefacts gathered from around the world and a service culture measured in decades.

The 174 suites are the point: generous living rooms, kitchenettes in many categories, marble bathrooms and wide Atlantic balconies — residential comfort inside a full resort. Two large outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, spa and gym line the seafront.

Private stairs descend to a bathing platform in the ocean; five restaurants and bars — from the Pérgula to the piano bar — keep evenings in-house. Beside it rises the group's newer Savoy Palace, giving Royal Savoy's guests the largest combined resort footprint on the island.
